Overview
The State of Oklahoma adopted and enforces the Oklahoma Uniform Building Code. The building code is strictly mandated throughout the state; however, local jurisdictions may adopt additional more stringent provisions so long as they are not in conflict with the state code.
Oklahoma's building codes include:
- International Residential Code (for One and Two Family Dwellings), 2015 edition, effective September 17, 2018 (amendments).
